1. What KinTask Is

KinTask helps people looking for help connect with people offering local services.

KinTask is not the contractor, employer, agent, partner, insurer, or person performing the work.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

Users must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.

Users are responsible for account security and activity under their account.

Users should be legally able to use the platform in their jurisdiction.

3. Request Responsibilities

People looking for help should post requests that are accurate and clear.

People looking for help are responsible for safety decisions, pricing discussions, work expectations, and who they choose to contact or hire.

KinTask does not guarantee availability, quality, pricing, results, or completion.

4. Service Account Responsibilities

People offering local services are responsible for truthful profile details and lawful services.

People offering local services are responsible for licensing, permits, insurance, taxes, pricing, safety, and work quality.

Service accounts are independent and are not KinTask employees.

5. Matching, Ranking & Platform Signals

Matching may consider location, service area, category fit, service profile details, account standing, platform activity, reviews, availability, and similar signals.

KinTask does not charge lead fees, sell paid ranking, or take a platform cut from local work at launch.

KinTask does not guarantee specific match order or guaranteed outcomes.

6. Messaging & User Content

Messages and submitted content may be stored and reviewed for support, safety, complaint handling, fraud prevention, and running KinTask.

Users must not submit illegal, abusive, deceptive, private, or harmful content.

KinTask may review, restrict, or remove content where appropriate.

7. Fees & Payment Features

Users can currently search, post requests, browse local services, message, request bookings, leave reviews after completed work, and report concerns without lead fees or paid ranking.

KinTask does not charge lead fees, sell paid ranking, or take a platform cut from local work at launch.

If payment features are introduced later, this page will be updated before use and third-party payment providers may process related transactions under their own terms.

8. Issues Between Users

Work agreements are between the users involved.

KinTask may review user reporting, moderation issues, and activity on KinTask, but is not a court, arbitrator, insurer, or guarantor of work outcomes.

KinTask may assist with reporting, support, and moderation where appropriate.

9. Safety & Service Location Responsibility

Users are responsible for safe conduct and decisions at service locations.

KinTask does not inspect service locations or supervise work.

For emergencies, contact local emergency services.

10. Platform Availability

KinTask may change, pause, or be unavailable while the platform develops.

KinTask does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KinTask is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or outcomes of independent user interactions.

Where required by law, these limits are interpreted reasonably and do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Users remain responsible for property damage, personal injury, and other outcomes tied to their own decisions and conduct.

12. Account Restrictions / Termination

KinTask may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts for misuse, fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, false information, legal concerns, or platform integrity reasons.

13. Changes to Terms

KinTask may update these Terms as KinTask grows.

Continued platform use after updates means acceptance where permitted by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable laws of Canada, unless required law states otherwise.
